From Awareness to Action: HIS Students Take a Stand Against Bullying
Deepening Understanding and Recognition Through
Thinking and Creation: After taking action comes deeper understanding and recognition.
PART 01

Theme Class Meetings: Re-recognizing “Strengths” and “Weaknesses”
We learned to appreciate ourselves and practice appreciating others. The classmate who is “too quiet” may have profound thinking ability; the partner who is “too straightforward” may hide rare sincerity.
Bullying often starts with labels, and we choose to tear off the labels and see the real people.

PART 02
Anti-Bullying T-Shirts: Wearing Attitudes
Each class designed a T-shirt together with themes such as“Refuse to Be a Bystander” and “Kindness Is a Ray of Light”.
This is no longer an ordinary piece of clothing, but a visual agreement made by the whole class: We stand together against any form of bullying.

PART 03
Chinese-English Roundtable Forum: What Can I Do If I Am a “Bystander”?
Student representatives discussed real scenarios in Chinese and English: “What can I do if I see someone being mocked in a group?” “How to express disagreement in a respectful way?”
This is not hypothetical; this is preparation. We are not talking about something far away; we are practicing how to protect each other.
In such a diverse and inclusive environment, students who choose to study in China are not only exposed to high-quality international education but also learn to respect differences, build empathy, and grow within a safe and supportive community.

Closing Is Another Beginning
At the closing ceremony with fluttering pink decorations, we commended the“Super Good People”, displayed the anti-bullying T-shirts designed by each class, and shared the“Action List” formed during the roundtable forum.
The most important link was when all teachers and students raised their right hands and made a solemn commitment in multiple languages:
“I respect everyone’s uniqueness, and I oppose any form of bullying. I will use my words and actions to support those in need and jointly build a friendly, inclusive, and safe campus.”
This is more than a ceremony; it is a convention signed by the entire campus community.

Students Said:
“I chose this sock with a small hole because it’s like me—imperfect but special. And here, I finally believe that my specialness will not be mocked, but accepted.”— Excerpted from the Odd Socks Day Sharing Session
Principal Said:
True education begins with an absolutely safe environment. We take “anti-campus bullying” so seriously because we deeply understand that only when free from fear and humiliation can the courage to explore, sparks of innovation, and sincerity in cooperation grow.
Thank you to every student for your full participation. You have proved with actions that HIS students are not only learners of knowledge, but also practitioners of kindness and guardians of justice.
The campaign will end, but the anti-bullying commitment will not.

Because we deeply know:
Your differences constitute the richest ecology here;
Your courage determines the fundamental warmth here.
The pink we wear is soft, but our stance is firm.
Here, we not only learn how to succeed but also how to be kind, how to be brave, and how to jointly guard a place where everyone dares to be themselves.
This is an indispensable lesson at HIS.
